Our terms and conditions comply with UK legislation and are designed to ensure that our customers can shop easily and with confidence with Greenvaleturf.co.uk.
These terms and conditions only apply to web site sales.
Pricing
All prices are in £ sterling and inclusive of VAT and inclusive of packaging and delivery charges to any address in UK. Any exceptions will be clearly marked on the website where relevant. Prices may be subject to change without notice, but we will only alter the price after we have confirmed your order, if is to your benefit.
Payment
You may pay by any major credit card or debit card if ordering by telephone. Please do not send money (notes in the post). All prices quoted by the company
Product Availability
Items shown on this website may not always be in stock. If any of your chosen items is not in stock, you will be advised of our best estimate of availability and delivery date at the time you place your order. Please note that an indication of such dates is an estimate only, may be subject to change without notice, and does not constitute a contractual obligation by Greenvale Turf to supply goods by a certain date. However, if availability is unduly delayed, we will use our best endeavours to keep you informed.

Please note that the colour of images shown on this website may be affected by the technology used to access it. Whilst we do our best to faithfully reproduce colours, some variation may occur.
Delivery
1. The company will make every efffort to deliver turf on the agreed date, but if for any reason the company is unable to deliver then no liability whether in damages or otherwise for delay of whole or any part of the goods ordered arising from any cause whatsoever.
2. Delivery by the company shall be conditional upon access free from encumbrances and good roads being available to the companies vehicles to the place of delivery.
3. The company will not accept any liability for damages to property caused during delivery.
4. If the company, or its agent cannot gain access to the delivery address then additional costs may be incurred. Deliveries are made using large vehicles and it is the customers responsibility to inform the company if there any an access problem. The company will confirm the outcome by email. In such cases that delivery, in the opinion of the company is not possible, then the company reserves the right to cancel the order. This above action must be completed before 12.00pm on the day prior to delivery. E-mail confirmation of orders also request the customer to contact the company if a delivery problem may occur.
It must be emphasized that the delivery vehicle must be able to park in an area where the delivery is to be made. The customer, or somebody appointed by the customer, should be at the delivery point to accept the delivery. Please would you advise us if there will not be anyone present.
5. We will inform you by Email or telephone at least 48 hours prior to despatch of our expected delivery date. We regret that we are unable to specify exact delivery times within that date. All deliveries must be signed for and you should keep your receipt. If goods are showing obvious signs of damage in transit upon receipt, please refuse to accept the delivery.
Cancellations
1. The customer has the right to cancel any product or services except perishable goods which are listed in sub point 4 below. Any cancellation must be made within 7 days from the date of the order being placed.
2. Cancellations are not accepted by telephone and must be by one of the following methods:
a) email: infogreenvaleturf.co.uk
b) Fax to 01282 425524
c) Letter to Greenvale Turf, Old Holme Farm, Cemetery Lane, Burnley, Lancashire BB11 5QB. Deemed to be received two working days foloowing the postmark date.
3. Customers are required to return the goods, at their own expense, to Greenvale Turf, Old Holme Farm, Cemetery Lane, Burnley Lancashire BB11 5QB within 5 working days of delivery.
4. Turf is classed as Perishable goods.
5. Perishable goods are excluded from cancellation under the Consumer Protection (distance Selling) regulations 2000 as amended by S1689, 2005.
Legal
Sales on this web site are governed by English law and you agree to submit any dispute to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts. All orders are subject to these terms and conditions and no amendments will be accepted by us. These terms and conditions do not affect your legal rights.
These terms and conditions only cover the Greenvale Turf web site. Any other web sites to which you link from this site may be governed by their own terms and conditions. We accept no responsibility or liability for the content of web sites which are not under our control.
We are required by law to tell you that sales can be concluded in English only and that we do not file copies of customer contracts.
